For more than 22 years, I’ve practiced real estate with one guiding principle:
my fiduciary responsibility is to my client — not to the listing, not to the headline price, and certainly not to my ego.
Before real estate, I spent 15 years as a medical researcher. That experience shaped how I approach every transaction today — analytically, methodically, and grounded in facts. I study the market the way I once studied data: carefully, objectively, and without emotion.
But real estate was always part of my story.
I flipped my first home to pay for college. What began as necessity became passion. Over the years, I’ve continued investing, renovating, and designing homes — not just selling them. I understand property not only from the contract side, but from the structural, financial, and design perspectives as well.
That matters — especially in a luxury coastal market.
Coastal properties require more than enthusiasm. They require an understanding of value, construction, flood considerations, insurance implications, and buyer psychology. Pricing is strategy. Timing is leverage. Presentation is intentional.
I do not believe in inflating a price to win a listing. Overpricing costs sellers time, leverage, and often money. I would rather have an honest conversation at the beginning than a difficult one weeks later.
I intentionally limit the number of clients I represent at one time. My clients are never handed off, managed, or treated like inventory. This is a significant financial transaction, and it deserves focus and discretion.
Most of my business has always come from repeat clients and referrals — which I consider the highest measure of trust.
Real estate is not a performance to me.
